Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making a booking.

By completing a reservation at Coast Motel Eden — whether online, by phone, or by email — you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. RESERVATIONS & BOOKING CONFIRMATION

1.1 A reservation is confirmed once a booking reference number has been issued by Coast Motel Eden or our booking system.
1.2 Full payment or a valid credit card guarantee may be required at the time of booking, depending on the rate selected.
1.3 It is your responsibility to ensure all booking details — including dates, room type, and guest numbers — are correct at the time of reservation.

2. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

2.1 Standard check-in time is 2:00pm. Standard check-out time is 10:00am.
2.2 Early check-in and late check-out may be available on request and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.
2.3 Guests must present valid photo identification at check-in.
2.4 The number of guests occupying a room must not exceed the maximum occupancy for that room type.

3. CANCELLATIONS & MODIFICATIONS

3.1 Cancellation policies vary depending on the rate type selected at the time of booking. The applicable policy will be clearly displayed prior to confirmation.
3.2 Standard bookings: Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival, or no-shows, will incur a charge equivalent to one night’s accommodation.
3.3 Non-refundable rates: Some promotional or discounted rates are non-refundable and non-transferable. These will be clearly identified at the time of booking.

3.5 Coast Motel Eden reserves the right to cancel a reservation in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, guests will be notified as soon as possible.

4. PAYMENT

4.1 We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Accepted card types are displayed during the booking process.
4.2 A valid credit card may be held as security for incidental charges. Any pre-authorisation hold will be released upon checkout if no additional charges apply.
4.3 All rates are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST.

5. PROPERTY RULES & GUEST CONDUCT

5.1 Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is considerate of other guests and neighbours. Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, or any activity that interferes with the enjoyment of other guests will not be tolerated.
5.2 Quiet hours are observed between 10:00pm and 7:00am.
5.3 Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and covered areas of the property. Guests found smoking in non-designated areas may incur a cleaning fee of up to $250.
5.4 Pets are not permitted at Coast Motel Eden.
5.5 Coast Motel Eden is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings. Guests are advised to secure valuables appropriately.
5.6 Any damage caused to the property or its contents during a guest’s stay will be the financial responsibility of the guest.

6. LIABILITY

6.1 To the extent permitted by law, Coast Motel Eden accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property during a guest’s stay, except where caused by our negligence.
6.2 Coast Motel Eden is not liable for any loss arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or government-imposed restrictions.

7. PRIVACY

7.1 Coast Motel Eden collects and handles personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website. By making a booking, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in that policy.

8. ACCESSIBILITY

8.1 Coast Motel Eden is committed to providing accessible accommodation where possible. Our Accessibility Statement & FAQs document is available on our website. Guests with specific accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact us prior to booking.

9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

9.1 Coast Motel Eden reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version will always be published on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. GOVERNING LAW

10.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
